I’m Kate and this little one with the camera is me, many moons ago when I wanted to be just like my Dad and take photographs. Dad was my true inspiration so I went on to study photography at School, College and University. I’ve worked in a camera shop, a portrait studio and started Birds and Bees back in 2008. I’ve picked up a skill set throughout the years which means I achieve beautifully captured photographs of your family.

Since having my children Elliot and Betsy, I’ve put all my time into their first years. And with Elliot having special needs he is always at the top of my priorities. He’ll appear all over my work on here, as he’s really challenged me to think outside the box when capturing the lovely moments that special needs children have. And of course Betsy will be growing up through my own family photos too.

By letting me into your family for that short space of photography time I will be patient, empathetic and friendly so your images will become a cherished part of your lives.
